Guest guest
Hello everyone, my name is Dianne and I live in Ft. Worth, TX. I was banded on August 23,2005. At my post op appointment last week, I had lost 11 pounds. YAY!!! While at that appointment, my doctor said I could now move to the pureed stage of the diet- which was a surprise as I had expected to be on liquids for a couple more weeks. I have not lost any more weight since the 11 pounds the first week. In fact, my weight seems to have gone up. I find this discouraging and am curious as to if this is normal or not? Has any one else had this, or a similar experience? Also, I am hungry these days and my stomach does not seem to stay full. Any advice? Thanks- ~D
