I just have not decided if I will use the surgeon in Tacoma or the one here in PDX. I have appts. to meet them both first and then decide. Can some of you send me (privately is fine if you prefer) what a few day's food intake is like while on the band? Thanks! Guest guest Posted October 3, 2003 Report Share Posted October 3, 2003 It really depends on where you are after surgery. There are liquid days when all my intake is protein shakes and broth. Then there are soft-food days when 2oz of cottage cheese and pureed chicken alfredo is all I can face. And then there are days when a 4 oz steak has no hope of surviving within arms reach of me.
