Guest guest
Yes, if you are talking about adrenal supplements. the conversion of the inactive T4 to the active T3 needs healthy adrenals. You need to stop your thyroxine for a week when you first start taking adrenal supplementation to give your adrenals less work to do and so they can concentrate on getting better - then you can start back on your levothyroxine again. Don't worry about missing the levothyroxine, you will have some in your body for up to 6 weeks, so very much doubt you will miss it. Go to our web site www.tpa-uk.org.uk and in the right hand column on the Home Page, scroll down until you see " Buy Anything from Amazon " . Click on that and type in " Your Thyroid and How to Keep it Healthy " and if you buy it that way, TPA-UK gets a small percentage, and we need every penny we can get at the moment as we are trying to raise the necessary £5000 to establish TPA-UK as a registered charity. Luv - Sheila Been reading as suggested - situation almost certainly complicated by Adrenal Exhaustion (probably my mother too - I will never get her to take on the profession!). Haven't finished the article yet, but I have a question. Will my 200mcg thyroxine make it difficult for me to start treating with supplements. Thanks for the Dr Peatfield book suggestion via email - I will definitely search it out. Bridged - Holding down the panic, but getting campaigning angry now No virus found in this incoming message.
