Guest guest
How much iodine was this little girl on? My 12 year old has a goiter. It isn't as noticeable as the one posted, but if you know what to look for, you can definitely see it. A nutritionist just started her on 2 drops of Lugol's. The goiter is something we have just started seeing in the last 6-9 months, and he says it is common to see this around puberty. I imagine that is because her iodine needs are greater now? We did Lugol's back in Jan. for a while, but once I noticed an enlarged thyroid, we quit the iodine. The goiter hasn't changed. Also, since I seem to react so badly to it, I was nervous giving it to her. I hope we will see those tremendous results in a month! Thanks, Olif
