Guest guest
I cut and pasted below from Shoman's recent quiz on Autoimmune risk. I really can't imagine why she would include iodine on this list. Perhaps she is more anti-iodine than I realized, but there is no further explanation that I could find. Sharon " Quiz: Could You Have an Autoimmune Condition? from Shomon Q: Do you take any of the following prescription or illegal drugs, or supplements? Interferon drugs -- alpha, beta and gamma interferon -- and interleukin-2, D-penicillamine, Quinidine, Propanolol, Trimethadone, Lithium, Iodine/ iodine supplements such as kelp, bladderwrack, or bugleweed, Hydralazine/Apresoline, Isoniazid/Laniazid, Procainamide/pronestyl, Procanbid, Methyldopa/Aldomet, Thorazine/Chlorpromazine, Medicinal gold, Fenfluramine, Cocaine, or Heroin? Yes, that is an autoimmune disease risk or symptom. " http://glclk.about.com/?zi=8/2Lao
