Guest guest
Hi. This is my 1st time posting here. I've been lurking quite awhile but to be honest I've just been trying to learn from you. I'm 50 years old & have had several bad heart attacks. 6 months ago my doctor checked my thyroid & said it was hardly working. He put me on Leventhyroid & I can't tell any change from the pills. I went to the doctor today & he started to write a script for something different. He looked over at my chart & he asked why it said I was allergic to iodine. I told him I thought that because of the dye they had put in me for test. He asked what happened. I told him I had flat-lined. He just tore up whatever he had written. It was like a light bulb moment for both of us, I could see it in his eyes. He told me my sensitivity to iodine was probably what was & is wrong with my thyroid. He had them draw blood to see what course best to take. Have anyone here experienced anything like this? If so - what options are there?Trying to understand...Thank you Rhonda http://rhondaboo.com/index.htmllast update 4-29-2007
