Guest guest
I had my annual upper GI in early december and a Bone scan 2 weeks later - and they could still see the barium in me by late december the movement had slowed to a crawl (from once a week to none) -- I've taken Rx'd lactulos, which got some out, but in the last week I've took Lactulos, stool softners, miralax, eLax, ton's of fruit, etc - and nothing so I went to the doc yeterday and she ordered an xray the xray showed " small bowel impaction " so she said to keep taking miralx I did an internet search and most of it is on " small bowel blockages " -- but an impaction and turn into a blockage quicklyI am concerned - but I'll call my doc on monday if I have not hand any progress this weekend or if I get any abdominal pain. I just hope the barium from the upper GI is not sill in there 4+ weeks later-- I would think if it was my stomach would be very distented.I did get some out this morning- but that could have all be in my large intestine -- it's the small one that's the problem. any advice ?? donna _________________________________________________________________ Windows Live™: Keep your life in sync. http://windowslive.com/explore?ocid=TXT_TAGLM_WL_t1_allup_explore_012009
