It is worth having a look through the website as it contains a lot of useful information. www.sleepoz.org.au/about.html Unfortunately I forget just about everything so I can't remember exactly what the fellow told me about the relationship between Hashimoto's disease / Hypothyroidism and sleep problems. All that I can remember is that he said that he had done a quick search of the literature and found that there seems to be a link between the two. An interesting thing that he mentioned is that it is best not to wear sunglasses prior to 10am each morning (I live in Australia, so I'm not sure about times in the UK) and to sit outside and eat your breakfast so the melatonin can kick in and do its thing.
