Re: Synthiod vs Armour

Hi Robin,

Wow Robin. Well, first off, some people do better on other types of

thyroid pills. Perhaps that would make a world of difference for you.

(I am on Levoxyl myself. A lot of people do well on that when they

haven't liked the other stuff.)

Another thing to consider is your adrenals. Are they off? If you

still have such symptoms despite those lab numbers, I'd suspect

something else going on like that. You may well have a hidden adrenal

problem...(which is simple enough to treat--also with a daily pill--

but the problem is that adrenal malfunction is usually missed and

treating only the thryoid problem will only aggravate an already

present adrenal problem---and the symptoms are similar to

hypothryoidism symptoms).

I find you really must be aggressive sometimes in the course of

treatment. It will pay off. Discuss this with your doc and keep

researching too! I hope you will find some relief!!

lots of love and support,

Rhonda

Rhonda,

Thanks for the information... I will check in to that... I will have

to look up and see what the adrenal glands do for the body.. Are

they the ones thats sit on top of the kidneys? Because I was born

with only one kidney..

Thank you
