Guest guest
You had the same situation going that I had. I was on beta-blockers for the erratic heartbeat and heart pain. I was determined to get off of them. I read alot about magnesium and decided to try it. I got immediate relief. I now think that because I have hashimoto’s that I must have had Mag deficiency symptoms all my life. Magnesium has cleared up so many small things that I thought were just the way my body operated. Magnesium Glycinate capsules are the most absorbable. I drink alot of tomato juice too for the potassium. Test yourself for Mag deficiency: http://www.thewayup.com/newsletters/081501.htm http://thyroid.about.com/b/a/172897.htm --- Karin Deutschler <kdeutschler@...> wrote: > HI everyone, I am new to this group. Guest guest
Hi All, Ive read a lot of stuff on file and I have to be honest.Im more confused. Im hypothyroid. I read with interest Dr Wests information and I am sensitive to iodine because my heart does race when I have to much kelp. But feel better when I get the amount right. I havnt had it for 2 years. In Australia, you cant get iodine to do the 'patch test',but Im going to try a few other places to see if i can get it. So if there are a few who have some thoughts on this to clarify things ,that might help. Thanks,.

I took kelp for first time yesterday and had bit of racy heart. I've taken iodine within a multi supplement before with no problem. What is it about kelp that's different? In a coconut book i've got. If you are taking vco for wilsons' syndrome it says that it is a good sign, a healing crisis, it means raised metabolism etc. Could this not be the same when taking kelp Sal >
Guest guest
Do you/anyone have any guesses about what it is in the kelp that is triggering the palps? Guest guest
I sometimes have heart palpitations if I eat something I am allergic to. It is possible that there might be something in kelp besides the iodine that you are sensitive to.
