Can anyone give me some help discerning between the iodine options? My

dr has me using standard process prolamine, (6mg per day) and I am

wondering what the advantages/disadvantages are of iodoral and

prolamine. Also what other means for supplementation? I have Graves and

have just started using iodine. I believe even at this dose I am

experiencing bromide detox issues - runny nose, headache and a fresh

batch of acne !!! I took the loading test but have not gotten my

results yet ..... I was quite hyper -symptom-wise- at the start but

have managed to get those under control with lemon

balm/motherwort/bugleweed. I would love some insight on these issues.

thanks much,

6 mgs of Iodine isn't a lot. Your options for iodine can be found in the

files section of the group. There is Lugol's (liquid & pill), nascent,

detoxified. My Dr uses Iodine for graves with L-Carnatine and Magnesium.

I am not too familiar with Graves and Iodine as I had thyroid cancer and

have used iodine for that.
