Guest guest
I have a question for all of you females out there with fybrocystic breasts. I have been taking lugals for 2 months at 50mg a day. I have noticed that my cysts are getting a little bigger but they seem softer. They are not just " going away " as I have read on some posts. I have high progesterone that is finaly being treated which may be part of this. Have any of you noticed this before your cysts got better or disappeared? I have also heard sometimes you have to take the iodine for 3-6 months before they get better. Thanks for the input. a in North Idaho > > Just further to the comments on cysts disappearing with the use of > Iodoral. Guest guest
Has anyone tried to eliminate " non-reproductive " cysts (ones not in the breasts and ovaries) by painting with iodine? I've got some very small cysts on other parts of my body that I'd like to get rid of, and I was wondering if it has been done before. Guest guest
Virginia Not sure about cysts but read on. Dr. Tullio Simoncici suggests: For skin cancer, a 7% iodine tincture should be spreadon the affected area, 20 to 30 times once a day, with the aim of producing a number of layers of crusts. After this treatment the cancer will be gone and stay away forever. www.cancerfungus.com Hope this may be helpfull Dave > > Has anyone tried to eliminate " non-reproductive " cysts (ones not in the > breasts and ovaries) by painting with iodine? Guest guest
Hello Virginia, I tried painting iodine on my daughter’s sebaceous cyst, and it seemed to make it sore so I brought her to my naturopath. He recommended this: Castor Oil packs. I cut the arm off of an old clean sweater and made a nice square of wool. I soaked the wool with castor oil and placed it on her cyst. I covered this with a cloth and then a hot water bottle. I left it till the water cooled. We did this every night for about a week and it went away (amazing, too, because it was about 1.5 inches by 1 inch). (You can reuse the pack, I just kept it in a stainless bowl overnight with plastic wrap.) I would bet that the efficiency of the castor oil packs was due to the previous iodine painting, but that is just my intuition. For carbuncles (a cyst which forms around a boil) I recommend icthammol.
Guest guest
Thanks, . Your info may be of help to others, but my cysts are very small, about 1/4 inch in diameter, and are on each side of my nose, like hard bumps beneath the skin. They've been there for as long as I can remember, but I'd like to get rid of them even though they're hardly noticable to the casual viewer. I've been painting them with Lugol's for just a few days. I haven't noticed any change yet. Virginia >>I tried painting iodine on my daughter's sebaceous cyst, and it seemedto make it sore so I brought her to my naturopath. Guest guest
I wonder if this would work in a muscuos cyst I have on my finger due to arthritis. I have been putting iodine on it and I read yesterday cortisone cream might work also. I don't have to go to a hand specialist to have it remove because I read it grows again although I had one on my wrist many years ago and it went away by itself. My ortho tells me this one won't go away by itself. I am going to get some castor oil this weekend and I will try it.
