Guest guest
I just wanted to share some good news. Yesterday I hit an even 80 pounds GONE GONE GONE! I am 13 months post op now. For those of you struggling, it WILL happen for you. Just hang in there. Work that band, follow all the rules and be patient for good restriction to come. It WILL come, it's just a process, some slower than others, but the band does work. I got to 306 pounds over the course of many years. It's unrealistic to assume that I can get to my goal of 180 in a short span of time (Remember with RNY sure it's faster, but don't now wish that you went that route, you had reasons for not choosing that. I didn't choose that method of wls because for me malabsorption is malnutrition). I've never lost more than 30 pounds on my own. All hail the Lap-Band! WOOHOO! Sometimes being a loser is a GOOD thing! 5'11 " 306 / 226 / 180 PreOp / Now/ Goal Banded 09/14/06 _________________________________________________________________ Climb to the top of the charts!
