Guest guest
Also wanted to mention that there is an online lab that provides tests if you don't have a doctor to order it for you. It is https://orders.directlabs.com/dl-locator/order_tests.aspx About half way down the list you will see *aldosterone* They will send you a requisition and you can take it to the lab near you and get the results in 24-48 hours. Dove Rose Re: Re: DoveRose:New here; low BP If you have low cortisol there is a 50% chance you also have low aldosterone (both hormones are produced in the adrenal cortex). If you do a google search on "symptoms of low aldosterone" you will see your symptoms. I belong to a thyroid/adrenal forum and there are several people there who have the same symptoms as you and had the aldosterone test (as well as cortisol saliva test) done and were shown to have low aldosterone and needed supplementation.
