Guest guest
How much of your gland was removed? What is the status of your parathyroid function? It is difficult in some people not to remove them when thyroid tissue is taken. They are located on the rear of the gland.. but in some people...they have been completely engulfed by the thyroid gland. I suppose the blood supply could be disrupted during surgery as well. Considering the difference in cell types (colloidal, non colloidal) I would imagine they would show up differently on a thermogram. Could this be the "hot" spot.? Are you having any issues with calcium or phosphorus?See AOL's top rated recipes and easy ways to stay in shape for winter.
