How much of your gland was removed?

What is the status of your parathyroid function?

It is difficult in some people not to remove them when thyroid

tissue is taken. They are located on the rear of the gland..

but in some people...they have been completely engulfed by the

thyroid gland. I suppose the blood supply could be disrupted during

surgery as well.

Considering the difference in cell types

(colloidal, non colloidal) I would imagine they would show up

differently on a thermogram. Could this be the "hot" spot.?
