Guest guest
I’ve been tested through health excel for a fast oxidizing, protein type. Being a protein type is associated with weaker cells. What I understand now is that it is the protein types, people who need more protein and fats to be healthy and who’s ancestors tend to come from more northern climates (Scandinavian in my case). They have stronger histamine responses, I get hives and allergies easily, react strongly to bug bites. I also have exaggerated reactions to medications, and food sensitivities. Anything toxic that I ingest shows up in a skin reaction very quickly. I absorb things through my skin very rapidly. Sometimes I can taste things that I rub on my legs within a few seconds. Prior to finding out about differences in cell permeability, I thought it was my imagination. I wish that there was more research and mainstream understanding of metabolic differences, but there isn’t. Mercola talks about it now on his website. Dr. is writing a book and I will be very happy when it is published and I can read more about this. The Metabolic Typing Diet book by Wolcott has a questionnaire that is very helpful in determining what diet will best support an individual’s metabolism. Karima How does one know if they have leaky cells? Thanks, Irene
