Guest guest
>I'm male, about 50, overweight, and in poor shape < I'm male, 53, overweight, but no longer in poor shape after 8 years now of dispensing with the common medical paradigm and embracing many alternatives that turned my previously desparate plight around. I still have issues of damage, however, and a constant issue is to keep up a high energy level. I'll try not to wander too far off the topic of iodine here though. One of the great eye-opening events of my life was a myelogram, an injection of iodine based dye into the spine for a series of x-rays. That injection chased the disease out of my body and to the skin where I could see what was infecting me in all its hideous and disgusting incarnation. That was 2002, and there was precious little info about iodine on any discussion groups at the time. I have kept taking kelp and Lugol's for all that time. Only recently have I had time to study these other forms of iodine such as the various takes on Atomidine. I am now getting excited about this as a (part of a) long term and simple treatment for my main problems- rheumatoid arthritis and heart disease*. I've already had great successes on those fronts but I just knew that something was missing. It may be these other forms of iodine. I am presently taking " Detoxified Iodine " http://www.iodinesource.com/Products.asp; I can literally feel the energy surge from only 2 drops in a glass of water (non-chlorinated!). The energy to me is so powerful that I had to stop taking it 4-5 drops at a time as I did at first. The immediate sensation lasts only a few minutes and the actual physical energy surge lasts a few hours. I just never had any idea at all that this would happen from iodine. Not once until recently, in all my searchings and tryings, did I ever hear that any form of iodine could do this. Maybe I just missed it. I know for sure that kelp and Lugol's don't do what I'm experiencing. So now I'm eagerly awaiting a bottle of Magnascent to see what it does for me. I'm hooked. Reel me in. *About the RA and HD: I already do LOTS of things for those, far too many things to mention here, but a great many of those things have been wonderfully effective, and maybe that's why I feel what I feel from the iodine. I can’t suggest that anyone else would feel this. But then, I've been called " Mr. Sensitive " by some. Daddybob No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition. Guest guest
daddybob, Since your dealing with heart disease and RA, you might want to look into Nattokinase. Briefly, our bodies make a substance called Fibrin. It is in our blood, mucous and lymph.Normally, it just floats around in there, but when " triggered " , the individual molecules of Fibrin bind together. In the blood and lymph, lack of movement triggers it; thats why when they do a blood transfusion or you donate plasma, they put the bag of blood on a little teeter-totter type mechanism, to keep it moving so the fibrin won't bind to itself. Fibrin is a major component of blood clots and scar tissue.Anyway, in blood, mucous and lymph, it is also 'triggered' by inflamation; to isolate the source/cause of said inflamation. Our body also produces an enzyme, which, like a pac-man, eats up Fibrin, to keep us from having too much.Unfortunately, as we get older, (and as a result of diets deficient in fresh fruits/veggies) we continue to produce Fibrin, but our production of this enzyme declines.Result is any inflamation results in excessive Fibrin reaction, hence RA, Heart disease, pulmonary fibrosis, etc. If taking it, should use with caution if also taking " Blood thinners " . Anyway, hope this isn't too 'off-topic'.Also, something I've found very helpful; I have fibromyalgia, and wondered how do you tell if you are experiancing a 'placebo effect'? A placebo effect won't work long term. Otherwise, Dr.'s could proscribe sugar pills for chronic pain, (such as fibromyalgia, Ra, etc). I have had several instances when I took a supplement that seemed to relieve my symptoms, for a couple of days, but then they returned.(Placebo effect).I also, when I find something that seems to work, stop taking it to see if the symptoms return. If I do several 'rounds', and find each time the symptoms are relieved by taking, and return when I stop, and it works long term, I can be assured it is NOT placebo.
