Hi Terri,

I'm in Monroe, on Roosevelt Rd. Where do you workout? I used to go to

Curves, but have philosophical/religious differences with them, so am

now " in between " gyms. I'd like to wait for the new Y to come, as it is

very close to my house, but a lot of my friends go to the fitness club

up behind Ben lin.

Hi Terri! I live in Monroe, on 149th St. SE, just a few blocks from

the hospital. Sorry to say, thought, that I don't think I'd make a

good workout buddy. I work an irregular pattern of days, and

frequently swap between day and night shifts, so I can't stick to

any regular recurring schedule. I get most of my excercise at work

and from spontaneous walks around my neighborhood.

Hi Terri!

I was just banded on 11/8/04 by Dr. Kuri, and I live in Lake s.

It's good to hear of a local person, going through a similar

experience to me. I understand that there is a local support group

that meets in Everett (Providence Hospital, I believe), and they are

meeting 11/30. Watch for the postings on this board for the place &

time, as we get closer to that date. I have three kids under 3 1/2,

so I would love to be your work out buddy, but I find myself running

around, trying to catch my brain half the time!! LOL Guess I'm

getting my workouts running around after my kids. Good luck to you

though - hope to see you at that support meeting - I'll be there.

Hi all -

I was banded in August of this year (doing well so far), and would

love to get together soemtime with other bandsters here in Monroe. I

saw this old post from a coupld year back and thought I'd open it up

again. This is my first post in this group as I'm usually cruising

around the NWWLS group. I was banded there by Dr. Montgomery. I

workout over at Thrive Fitness in Monroe...anyone else?

I was wondering if you ever got a support group going in Monroe or

know of one in Monroe. I too am looking to chat with others in that

area.

Hey there - Haven't found anyone in Monroe, but did meet up with a few

bandsters in the general area. We've met a couple of times for lunch

and chat online a bit.

Anyone in Monroe or near it, feel free to shoot me an email. Let's try

to get lunch or coffee sometime. Perhaps we can make it a regular

monthly get together or something.
