The iodine in organic milk may be lower, but you presumably wouldn't

have the inhibitory effects of perchlorates from pesticides. I wonder

if this is a zero-sum issue with regard to absorption levels. If so,

I'll stick with organic any day.

If the cow

is primarily raised on pasture and not supplemented with iodine, the iodine in

the milk will

be low. If the cow is given iodine supplementation, then the milk will have

more iodine.

Most pasture does not have much iodine.

organic milk because the cows were pastured more and not getting the iodine that

came in

the regular feed.

I have always craved milk and sometimes can drink a gallon a day. Maybe I am trying to get iodine from it. I always buy raw milk from a farm down the road.

been a huge milk drinker! Only now I am jealous.. I can't get raw milk

here so have to buy the organic instead and ti is good, but not quite as

good as raw milk which I LOVE!

I also used to crave milk, especially during my pregnancy. Couldn't get

enough milk and cream. Turns out I'm allergic to it and those cravings were

adrenaline rushes created by the allergy. I'm hoping by eliminating it I

will clear up some adrenal issues and auto immune stuff.

Towards the end of last year I had all the symptoms of Lactose

intolerance.. Since my last thyroid HC increases this is GONE. I got off

Lactaid about 4 months ago and have no problems with organic dairy now

at all.

That's great, and very interesting. FYI: Big difference between lactose

intolerance and an allergy to milk protein, which is what I have. I actually

have no issues with lactose!

Yes, but why drive your adrenals to stress when you should remove the

stressor? Then you don't need exogenous cortisol and DHEA because those

things will correct themselves (unless you're too far gone, which is the

case for some). Otherwise you're just correcting the symptoms instead of the

cause. I always think it's easier to remove something (free of charge) than

to add in a drug, natural or otherwise ($$$) to correct the damage of an

antigen.
