Assuming your are having a lap band put on. Yes after a short time

on clear liquids, full liquids, soft mushies you go to regular

foods. you just eat smaller quanities of better for you foods. they

rest of your life stays as normal would be for you. You may have

some slight discomfort from the surgery for a short time that may

hinder any sexual activity but the surgery itself does not come near

any organs used for that purpose. Right after surgery keep showers

short as you don't want to get dirtly water into open wounds keep

bandaids on while showering and change them after applying a good

antibacterial cream. Excercise is resumed back to normal activity

about 4 -6 weeks, though walking is encouraged from the start. You

may have the jiggle factor (when the stomach jiggles when you walk

so you may want to give yourself a hug to hold it is place. Good

luck, hope this helps.

from the band to Gastric Bypass or one who has the Bypass that has been banded

if so I would like to hear your story and why you made that choice? thanks
