Hi Sue..I have pale skin too..do you live you near sea level, or at a higher

altitude?

I think the lower oxygen pressure doesn't help. My skin has not really improved

that much on iodine therapy, but my hair is growing again, and more pigmented

hairs now than I've seen for a long time. Co workers have noticed that my hair

is darker, and fuller. I would love to ditch the "frankenstein skin" though.AOL now offers free email to everyone. Find out more about what's free from AOL at AOL.com.

Oh yea, I'm still here. I pop on and off quite a bit...

Since starting Iodoral 50mg:

Disappearance of most age spots.

" Some " hair regrowth, including eyebrows and eyelashes.

Hair re-pigmentation on hairline of upper part of forehead.

Able to lower Armour thyroid from 12 grains to 11 grains.

Able to lower some of my BHRT - halved estradiol and lowered

progesterone by 100mg.

Needed to raise testosterone from 1.5gm to 2gm.

Needed to add DHEA.

Able to discontinue prednisolone and later Cortef for adrenal

support.

Skin cleared totally and turned a normal human color of beige from a

pale 'bride of frankenstein' beige.

There's a lot of stuff that improved...basically my whole body seems

to be happy with the addition of 50mg Iodoral daily.

I did have some interesting detox reactions until I added 2000mg

Vit C. One eyeball sized zit-like thing in each of my armpits...and 4

of the same along my spine. OK, maybe not as big as an eyeball, but

sure seemed like it. Phew. Disappeared within days after adding the

Vit C, tho.

How long did it take for these changes to occur? I have age

spots that my dermatologist has suggested he remove. I would so love for

the iodine to take care of it. This gives me such hope. I am a pale

Bride of enstein also. I have ordered the iodine, and I hope to have

it this week.

Thank you,

Sue

I started to see good things happen in the first month.

My age spots continue to disappear. 3 left to go, and I was a spotted

appoloosa in October. Mine get a sort of fine film or sheen to them,

then after a while they turn light pink, then just fade away to

regular skin. They all used to be a dark liver color, but the 3

remaining ones I have are now a light brown.

By the way, I got rid of 2 skin tags and a weird warty thing using

Lugol's on them. Kewl, huh?

lightening of hyperpigmentation on both forearms and neck to almost normal has been one of the blessings of iodoral for me. sandra Sue Mosier <mosierm@...> wrote: How long did it take for these changes to occur? Sam, thank you so much for your reply. I am going to

cancel my appointment with the dermatologists so I can see if the age spots

will fade for me.

I enjoy your writing style. Your humor comes through.
