Guest guest
Hi you guys, I guess I'm feeling desperate now. I'm not kidding when I say I feel the same amount of stress when things don't fit (too big) as I would if it was too small. I'm panicking here. I'm going to Hawaii on 10/10/04 for my five year wedding anniversary. We're supposed to renew our vows. I put off ordering a dress until last week because I figure my size won't change too much in the next couple of weeks. I ordered a 2X dress. Got it last night. It's horribly big. This really sucks. Yes..I can send it back. But I paid shipping for it now I have to pay shipping to send it back. I have no idea if a 1X would even fit..that's how big the 2X was. But I can't imagine being any smaller then that. I think somebody on here talked before about losing the ability to catalog shop. I have officially lost that ability. This is really upsetting to me. I'm feeling stressed about this. I have so much further to go in my weight loss (another 70 pounds at least) so I was stressed enough about buying something that I will most likely only wear once but I did it..and now that doesn't even fit. And for that matter neither do the shoes I bought to go with it. Too big. What??? Feet shrinking too??? Okay...less then three weeks and counting. Feeling a little stressed. I don't suppose anybody has something in a 1X that they'd be willing to loan me to take on my cruise? It doesn't have to be a wedding dress (I was going to wear a more casual muu muu to get renew the vows on Maui) but I just looked in my closet and I literally don't have any more dress up things and I am down to only TWO pairs of pants that fit and two pairs of jeans. No shorts that fit. But anyway..that's not the point..the point is I don't have a dress. Anybody that is sort of close to me (Olympia) have anything that I could borrow? I'd take care of it and return it. It's a slim shot but I thought I'd try. Guest guest
About what size is a 1x? I think I have three different dresses for you to chose from but I think they are around a 24 (on the tighter side of a 24)... > Hi you guys, > > I guess I'm feeling desperate now. > >
Guest guest
, I have a dress that would be perfect for you. It is a reversible dress. Hawaiian style. I would be more than happy to share it with you if you make sure I some how get it back. It is an important dress due to the fact it is my before dress. I work at Red Lobster in Tacoma 3 nights a week I could easily bring it to work and you could pick it up. It is red & off white sleeveless summer style. Love to help you out. Email me privately if you are interested. cocobotello@... I have pretty much given everything else away... This is the one of 2 items I kept for the before stage. the other is a pair of jeans! Yikes! Let me know Connie Botello > Hi you guys, > > I guess I'm feeling desperate now. > > I'm not kidding when I say I feel the same amount of stress when things > don't fit (too big) as I would if it was too small. > > I'm panicking here. > > I'm going to Hawaii on 10/10/04 for my five year wedding anniversary. Guest guest
, I'd be happy to loan you something, but I live in Seattle! If you find yourself making a trip up here, feel free to let me know - you can stop by and see if anything in my closet might work for you. I'm currently a 3X but I have lots of clothing from before I gained the weight that are in sizes 16-18ish. I don't know if that would be in the right size range for you! Hope you find something. > Hi you guys, > > I guess I'm feeling desperate now. > > I'm not kidding when I say I feel the same amount of stress when things > don't fit (too big) as I would if it was too small. > > I'm panicking here. > > I'm going to Hawaii on 10/10/04 for my five year wedding anniversary.
