Guest guest
Hey, it is me, Hope!

My day has been sending faxes of my Resume to companies, so I can get a job. I hate being poor! I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE IT!!!!!!!

I am down and depressed, a little. But, I know why....listen....

My ex in laws will not talk to me until the trial between me and my ex is over with because they don't know who is telling the truth. That made me upset. I found this out from one of my ex in laws, because I bought Girl Scout Cookies from her girls. Why should my son be punished on not seeing or talking with his Nana, and his Aunts and Uncles, and cousins????? Why should I care???? But I do. So, I wrote them a letter (email) letting them know that they don't need to speak to me, I understand since I am not blood, or by law, but Tristan is blood, and he should not be left out. He asks about them, but I don't know what else to say! I emailed them more than once. I am finish with them! It is in there hands now! If they want to loose what we had and there grandchild, nephew, cousin, than so be it! It is my Ex's job to keep them inform, not me! right? Guest guest
Say it isn't so! argh! Laurie Where is everybody??? There have been barely 30 messages posted since the last time I checked on Friday morning. Why is it so slow? Is it the Holidays? I remember the good ol' days when the group was still a " club, " and we would get 100s of messages daily. Sigh. What's to entertain me at work now?? Guest guest
This time of year most people are eating cookies and not thinking about fitness. Wait until January. There will be a stampede of new challengers. I've seen our volume at nearly 400 posts a day that time of year. Scary! Where is everybody??? Guest guest
That's pretty much what I figured, . It's the same at the gym. It's dead right now, even during the peak evening hours, yet come January, one won't be able to find an empty treadmill. I can't help but be annoyed by this " Screw it. I'll just wait until January attitude. " Lo and behold, come March, the gyms aren't nearly as crowded again. Most people just can't seem to stick to any fitness program. They make New Year's Resolutions, but fitness should be a life-time resolution, not just a New Year's fling. I'm proud to say I went to 3 X-Mas parties this weekend and ate clean the whole time (Sat. was my free day, so I had two Krispy Kreme donuts and ate clean the rest of the day). dani > This time of year most people are eating cookies and not thinking about fitness. > Wait until January. Guest guest
Hi ladies.. Today is day one and I got the BFL notebook thing. I am not totally prepared, and don't have it all organized but figured I should start NOW. I already eat about 6 times a day, and I used to be a personal trainer so I KNOW all this stuff but its totally different to use it on yourself. Im in SO CAL and anyway.I love how much support there is for this. I love it! My Mom is taking a before photo of me today. I am 31, by the way that just made me sound young...staying with my Mom, just moved back to La jolla CA from NYC after divorce.blah blah blah.this could really be good for me right now.its been a year since divorce and I want to date and want to get a life!! Happy to have found you all! Where is everybody??? There have been barely 30 messages posted since the last time I checked on Friday morning. Why is it so slow? Is it the Holidays? Guest guest
I'm here!!! I don't post much but I read. I'll try to make more of an effort. i will admit to some fairly serious problems with motivation. it's been a problem all year. I get all amped up for two weeks and then crash and burn. I'm still not entirely sure why, but the net result is I've lost the same 5lbs about a hundred times this year. It sucks. I've got not only the normal holidays, but my birthday this time of year, so it's an added challenge for me. I'm not giving up though, I will keep going to the gym and aim to at least maintain over this crazy season. Reading this thread has at least motivated me to stay away from the in-office lolly jar for the rest of the day. Thanks! Guest guest
All right, Phoenix, good to hear from you. Definitely keep you hands out of that candy jar. You'll feel that much better come January. Dani > > There have been barely 30 messages posted since the last time I > > checked on Friday morning. Why is it so slow? Guest guest
I'm still around but mostly reading. We are still with the program and into C2 and eating clean for the most part. Life has been pretty miserable since Thanksgiving. I've had some rather surprisingly awful news come to light and haven't felt much like talking to anyone. > There have been barely 30 messages posted since the last time I > checked on Friday morning. Guest guest
Good job Dani - you should be proud. I agree with you about people that hop on and off the bandwagon. But it wasn't until after my 3rd challenge that I really turned the corner and decided that this is now my lifestyle. So keep up the great work and enjoy the peace in the gym for now! Park (who has been so busy this last month she hasn't been posting hardly at all, but is still here and still living BFL!)
