Hello Alison,

You should check the laws in your country. Perhaps ask a patient

advocacy group what your rights as a patient are. The results from

the MRI are from your personal information and as such, you should

have a right to view them.

Doctors are obliged to let the patient read their results in Canada.

Many Doctors scoff at this and say that the patient will get confused

as they do not understand medical language. I have found that as a

lay person, I have, with a dictionary, learned to understand the

medical terminology quite fine on many topics
