WOW - there's a fair few test results here Mel. Everything looks absolutely fine and it doesn't look as if you need to treat your adrenals. Not everybody has compromised adrenals though. However, I think you need to increase your Armour and I would do this by half a grain. Stay on that for 3 to 4 weeks and then it is recommended you increase again by another half grain and stay on that for 3 to 4 weeks. It is usual to continue to increase in this way until you start to feel a little dizziness, or feeling sweaty or have some palpitations. This is good, (even though it doesn't sound it) because you know your body has now reached saturation point with the thyroid hormones it needs. You then stop the last half grain increase and stay on the dose you were on previously. We call this your "sweet spot" - and you should be fine on that dose thereafter.

I saw this because when you are taking natural desiccate thyroid extract, both your Free T4 and Free T3 should be well into the upper third of the reference range, and your Free T3 is very low. At your next blood test, after you have increased your Armour, if your Free T3 is still low, this might mean you need to add a little more T3 (synthetic). Some of us do, but usually, it will increase with a medication increase. I hope by the time you see Dr Skinner in February, you will be 'sorted'. Keep us informed in how you get on with your increases Mel

Luv - Sheila
