I requested info from Inamed's web site and they don't list any 'certified' Drs in SPO or CDA. However, they did send this list of surgeons, and perhaps they can fill or recommend a Dr who can. Apparently they've reduced the size of the circle they use now that there are more surgeons. Anyway, I contacted them but since they required three local meetings before consultation (a 400 mile drive or an expensive flight), and the meetings were at least a week apart, and there were no exceptions, I ruled them out quickly. Said he's done [outpatient] work on the band such as port & tubing replacement. He sounded really confident that he could help in case of fills, infection or emergency. I believe their office is at 1201 Jadwin Ave, Richland, WA 99352. He said that he's worked on a couple of local nurses who had their banding done in Mexico. I didn't ask about fluoro/barium stuff, so I'm not exactly sure, but I'm sure this equipment could be located if necessary. I asked Shillingstad for PCP recommendations and he gave me a couple names that I'll call soon. But he basically said 'come see me after the procedure' and he'll be happy to help. He didn't seem afraid of [liability from] the band or adjustments as many drs seem to be. His confidence was refreshing to say the least. E. > > j> OK.
