babyduty with you -- lots of us have willing arms and I have a GREAT backpack

that my kids always did well in, I'd be glad to wear it and spell you.

Somehow, we can help make this happen, you deserve it, and we deserve YOU.

You have always been such an inspiration to me, we were banded just about the

same time, for me it's TWO YEARS TODAY!!! and you were the first bandster I met

after in our hometown of Olympia! We virtually started OlyBands together!

Now we've gone our separate busy ways, you with little kids and me with crazy

teens (3 of them, are we dysfunctional or what????) Today I ate a whole can of

toffee peanuts while trying to ignore my tantruming 15-year-old who MUST go to

a concert in Seattle or her life is over, tonight. Oh well.

Anyway, MARK THE DATE, and ask to be there and you will be!

Hi ,

That is so nice of you to respond. You made me smile to remember how we

kind of started Oly Bands.

Anyway, it's not baby duty that I'm worried about. I wouldn't take baby to

bash..I need MOMMY time. Chad is more then happy to keep kids at home with

him if I could go but I just cannot spend that money on registration and

hotel when I'm not working at all right now..we just don't have the

funds..and it's HARD for me to have to say that to myself because normally

I'm somebody who if I want something or want to do something.I just do it or

buy it! This year I actually went and took my b-day present back to the

jewelers last week because even though I totally deserve my B-day present..I

just can't in good conscience keep it when we need to watch every penny. I

don't like this budgeting business and showing self control! Yikes. Good

thing I'm going back to work in March! (Guess that's why I'm not good

Stay-at-Home-Mom material..my husband told me that if I did that we wouldn't

have any extra money to put the kids in sports or take vacations or

anything. WHAT??? But that's when I'd need the vacation THE MOST is if I

had to stay at home ALL day! :-)

Anyway.I just read Joan's post and bash sounds like it's going to be EVEN

BETTER this year..I HATE to miss it but I wouldn't be able to drive back and

forth from the site to my home..not with my night blindness and I can't

afford two nights in a hotel and registration.

Anyway, here's to hoping that nothing will stand in my way for Bash 2007 and

hey.maybe..just maybe..I could be at goal by then? Maybe??? Now that I

finally have a partially good fill I'm finally, finally down 10 pounds.

Whoo hoo!
