Guest guest
julz, your weight loss has been great! good work! Psin with only the first few bites of food might be esophageal spasms, which ar4e not uncommon. try this to help: Drink a cup of hot liquid right before you eat, and place a warm heating pad on your chest for 1/2 hr before eating . These will relax the esophagus. Also, eat soft things for the first few bites, to help your esophagus get used to a bit of food in it. Be sur4e your " small bites " are the size of a pea. Small to many people is 5x this size - but still smaller than before banding!! If the pain contin ues, talk with your doc. there are meds that can be used effectively, like reglan or nefedipine. sandy R >> > I have a question about the breast bone pain - what causes it and what > complications can it have?
