Guest guest
Oh the stuff I have been thru in the past two weeks. I have been on Celebrex off and on since a 1998 job injury to my neck. Two weeks ago I started feeling extremely tired, like wham all of a sudden I could not stay awake. I had been having some leg cramps, and noticed that the area around the outside of my right ribcage was sore. I proceeded to get more and more tired, feeling confused and unable to focus. I put it together that it was the Celebrex and stopped taking it. I felt a little better but the pain around my right ribs remained and my left arm started to hurt. I went to see my doctor and he told me it could be either liver damage from the drug or gall stones which are another lesser known side effect of Celebrex. He told me to go to the ER if I got worse and ask for an Ultrasound. My blood work shows nothing out of the ordinary. I did end up going to the ER, my left arm was hurting, I felt sick and like I just could not hold my head up. I really had to concentrait to talk to the ER doctors. Yeah and they did not listen to a thing I said. They tried to pump me full of morphine, look for heart problems, my EKG was clean and then when they got bored with me gave me a prescription for vicodin and sent me on my merry way. My other doctor sent me for an ultrasound yesterday and I am still waiting to hear the results. Doctor time and regular people time are two differant things. They do not care if you loose your job or if you can not even prepare a simple dinner because you are falling down tired. The pain increased in my arm to where I did end up taking the vicodin. I did not want to, I abhore the stuff but it was either that or sit up all night considering going back to the ER idiots. If you possibly have a stone in your common bile duct, should you try cleansing at all. Or could you hurt yourself far worse in the attempt? I also read that this cleansing should only be done under the supervision of a practicioner. Remember I know nothing much about this whole process....tell me all as I am in a despirate situation. Thanks!
Guest guest
Hey there, If you have a possible stone stuck in your common bile duct you should definitely entertain the idea of a flush. I am a practitioner, but these flushes are quite safe. There are rare instances where it needs to be supervised (like when the practitioner is low on money. come to think of it, not so rare in my case). As long as you follow one of the protocols, they are quite safe. Check the archives for protocols. Pain in left arm and the lethargy are more concerning. Sounds like you found the cream of the medical establishment at that ER. Think about getting your cardio function checked out and not at that hospital. Find someone who actually knows what they are doing. Good luck, there is life after medical treatment. -Dave ----- Original Message ----- From: seri91710<mailto:seri91710@...> gallstones <mailto:gallstones > Sent: Thursday, September 28, 2006 4:14 PM Subject: HELPPPPP!!!!!
