Guest guest
When you're having symptoms of reflux- does drinking cold water help the acid go away? or drinking warm water= increase the acid? This is what my 5 year old tells me about her reflux but I've never heard anyone else describe it that way. SO I'm curious about others. Thanks,
Guest guest
For me, either will dilute the acid and help. For me cold water tightens me up, and warm water or other drinks opens me up. So maybe cold is better if it tightens you up. But I don't find any difference for me. But I only have the problem when I do stupid things like eating late in the evening. dan Saturday, August 28, 2004, 12:59:35 AM, you wrote: d> When you're having symptoms of reflux- does drinking d> cold water help d> the acid go away? or drinking warm water= increase d> the acid? Guest guest
How aboutn COOL water?! I drink a glass of water from the tap, that happens to be cool because we're on a aquifer system, an hour before bedtime to rinse my pouch and dilute the acid. I don't suppose it would really matter, though, since you will not have eaten for an hour or two by then. I think ANY kinda water would rinse and dilute. sandy R > When you're having symptoms of reflux- does drinking cold water help > the acid go away? or drinking warm water= increase the acid? > > This is what my 5 year old tells me about her reflux but I've never > heard anyone else describe it that way.
