an inexpensive hot and sour soup

I was checking out the Oberto outlet store on 100th and Aurora Monday

afternoon. Nothing really great on sale there so they didn't get

much of my money this time. After that went to OakTree plaza on NE

corner of 100th and Aurora. I went into the Mandarine Gate chinese

place and had a large bowl of their hot and sour soup, cost was only

$3.50. Not the best I have had but definitely not the worst. Seemed

like it had less solids than others but the broth was excellent.

PS; Does anybody know of a good place for hot and sour soup near

Blaine and Eastlake in Seattle?

The best sweet and sour soup I have had lately is at the Chinese

resturant over on 73rd and Greenwood. They have a great lunch

special (wonderful chicken and broccoli) with the soup.
