Guest guest
I had gallbladder sludge, fatty infiltration of the liver (both dx from an u/s) and elevated liver enzymes (the blood test that led to the u/s being ordered.) After doing a few flushes, the ultrasound was repeated and I still have the fatty liver but my gallbladder is clean. My liver enzymes remain high. I read that the herbal remedy milk thistle can help heal the liver, and I'm wondering if anybody here has taken it. I bought a bottle of milk thistle capsules. How often should I be taking it, at what dosages, and how long should I continue? Should I skip the herb on a day I do a flush? If I do a liver/gb flush about once a month, when in my menstrual cycle would work best? Any ladies have any input on this?
Guest guest
Great plan - milk thistle is safe & excellent for liver. I take 300 mg. a day, divided doses of 175 mg. each. Vitamin Shoppe (online) sells a good product.
