Here is a website talking about "Electrodine" (also spelled "electrodyne" in last sentence):http://www.purehealthsystems.com/iodine.html

==================

"It has been written that the fundamental building blocks to health are WATER, SALT, SODA AND IODINE". Of these, iodine seems to be the least understood and most neglected. Detoxified Iodine is very important for absorbability into the body's system. Electrodine, through a proprietary process, accomplishes this critical process making this Electrodine, 99 percent bio-available into the blood stream. It's main function is to provide the necessary element for the thyroid gland which is the center of the immune system in the human body. The thyroid influences all of the glands in the body, which regulates all the other systems directly. When the thyroid is operating correctly, the WILL is restored and vitality returns. Many long standing health conditions may improve or completely reverse when iodine is properly supplied in the body.

DETOXIFIED IODINE is totally different from the typical toxic iodine in its denser state sold as an antiseptic, or as iodine tri-chloride (claiming to be atomized), or as added to potassium iodine to make it safer. It is also unlike glandular or prescriptions containing hormones that take-over the thyroid's job, instead of nutritionally building the thyroid to do it's own job. Seaweed, seafood, greens, raw sunflower seeds, are good sources for iodine, but may not have the levels necessary to support the thyroid fully for good homeostasis in the body.

ElectrodineTM is extracted from eatable seaweed in Japan. The Japanese have been working with seaweed for centuries and know of its power to heal and keep the body strong. It is well known in the industry that Japan produces some of the best Iodine in the world. Once the Iodine is obtained and sent to the US, it is then processed with our proprietary process which changes the Iodine into Electrodine and allows the natural Iodine to be released into the body. This is why the amounts needed are so low. You don't have to take shot glasses full of standard Iodine to get any improvement. Just take drops of Electrodine and see the result. You get 200mcg of Iodine absorbed into your body for every drop you take.

DIRECTIONS: Take 1 drop in 3 to 6 oz water or topically for the first day, then increasing 1 drop each day thereafter for 5 days, then give yourself 2 days off on the weekend and start from the beginning on Monday. Follow this for three weeks. Then you can take 10 to 15 drops per day there after. (8am to 12 noon on an empty stomach 30 mins. before or 1 hour after meals, medications and/or supplements) Taking it after 4 PM could raise your energy levels and leave you not being able to sleep at night.

Electrodyne comes in a 1/2 oz bottle, and sells for $39.95, plus shipping. This is a 4-6 week supply. NOTE: Please allow 7-10 business days for shipment.

How do I know how much magnesium and selenium I need? Also, Jerry

Burnetti said there are 3 or 4 kinds of selenium and you need them all.

Here's a response I got from an inquiry:

=====================================================

- the 2 forms that have the best absorption & health

benefits are selenomethionine & methylselenocysteine. There's a

bunch of info in this post, with links to all my other selenium

posts:

iodine/message/10399

Here's Bill's last post that discusses the methylselenocysteine

form. As the link within this post mentions, not as many suppliers

carry it. I just ordered some of Life Extension Foundations's

formula for it. It seemed to have the least additives of any

formulation I could find.

iodine/message/10503

I think you are recalling Sharon's post about Jerry Burnetti &

barium contamination in

.. Here's the link:

iodine/message/9936

On the topic of contamination, I also came across this. Ugh:

http://www.ourfood.com/OurFood.pdf

" Strontium-90 is still very high in Brazil nuts of the Amazon region

originated from nuclear bomb test in Nevada, in the forties. The

radioactive pollution was carried through the Stratosphere and came

down as fall-out in the rain forest "

(The author: Karl Heinz Wilm diplome biochemist, graduated in the

Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Belem do Para, Brazil. As

member of the Council of Pharmacy of Porto Alegre he became director

of the section of bacteriology of the Biochemical Laboratory Dr.

Friedel in Sao Leopoldo, Rio Grande do Sul Brazil, later chief

chemist of the laboratory of food industry.)

FYI - I am taking 200mcg of selenomethionine & 200mcg of

methylselenocysteine/day. I also average 3mg iodine/day (1 drop

Lugol's every other day). I think this will help keep the Se in

balance with the I. I also suspect I have some mercury to detox, as

my old dentist drilled out 2 mercury fillings with no protection for

me. Selenium binds to mercury & helps remove it from the body.

What do you think of it? Would it replace Iodorol?

They use the Edgar Cayce words for sure. I would like to investigate to find if

they are following the Edgar Cayce procedures for making and if they follow the

10 amp low amperage method or 30 amp three times as long and smaller quantity at

a time to bring the nascent reacting state. B

Think you are right, and since they are citing that their production method is secret. We don't know what they do as far as the methods Cayce gave, if they are claiming that even, which they use Cayce words but don't even claim the Cayce method. The $10 bottles were originally the low amperage iodine, my guess. (Easier to make.) Maybe it doesn't matter to some folks.

I gave examples of three US patents where the Medical world claims great breakthroughs with the use of external application nascent iodine. I showed a medical lecture where it says the thyroid makes nascent iodine to in order to create T3 and T4 hormones, but I don't know if any of those who have studied iodine in detail consider nascent iodine of importance in a consumable form.

Re: Electrodyne

My question is why would anyone want to purchase this at $40 for 1/2 ounce

rather than esessentially the same thing from http://www.iodineso urce.com/ Products. asp

for as little as $ 10 an ounce for six bottles.
