Well I am 12 weeks pregnant, and cannot do a flush. I have been eating

really healthy and have not had any minor attacks in 3 weeks, and I was

having manageable ones since I've been pregnant. Yesterday I had 2 BAD

ones. The first bad ones I've had in over a year.

I called my OB last night hoping that I could get him to call in an

ultrasound for me. Nope. He only wants to refer me to a surgeon. Of

course the surgeon will most likely say remove it. I could go to the ER and

they would give me an ultrasound through the radiology dept, but I have a

very needy baby at home that I cannot leave. I cannot go to the ER for

hours while I wait for their routine bloodwork and all the stuff they do

that I don't need. So it looks like I'll be going to a surgeon, mainly just

because I want the ultrasound to be sure that it's not infected or

anything. Some times I feel like I don't want this pain any more I should

just have it removed, then I worry that it would work against my body. I've

heard people cannot digest foods afterwards very well. I really want to

keep every organ I have, but geez this pain.

I have a question about Ginger. I've read you should not eat ginger if you

have gallstones that it increases bile flow??? I took a vitamin yesterday,

really good vitamins Rainbow Light prenatals. BUT it has ginger juice in

it. Then of course I had the attacks. Do you think the ginger could hve

caused the attacks??? I cannot imagine that it would, but my books do say

not to take ginger. Increased bile flow? I thought that might be good, or

would that only push a stone into the duct?

Oh my gb aches today, this is so hard to deal with.

Blessings,

Traci
