There is no protocol for what you have listed. You can take them any time.

Lugol's is 6.25 mgs per drop. You need to decide what dose you will start

on. Some start at 50mgs like me and others start at 6 or 12 mgs and work

up.

So I can take the celtic sea salt in water right after I take my

iodine? Or should I do it before? I guess it doesn't matter. I have

actually already started the iodine and I swear I feel somewhat

better after just a few days. Are there any of these that

would be best taken on an empty stomach?

I was told to take my iron in an empty stomach but it made me sick. There

are no contradictions in any of the stuff.

Hi,

I have no thyroid gland and endo would only give me 1 grain of Armour

and told me to come back in four months.... 30 year Thyca survivor,

just switched to Armour 3/28/08. I really felt great the first few

days, but now I am having terrible stomach pains. I feel awful.

That's because the normal thyroid gland produces 3-5 grains of hormone. You

are undertreated. You need more thyroid hormone. If you had thyroid cancer

you need to stay on top of this. Suppressed TSH is a must and you need to

get it down as fast as you can tolerate. I started on 2 grains and am now

at 4 grains. I went from 2 to 4 grains in 3 mos time.

Sherry,

You need to increase the Armour. One grain is only a starting

point. Increase by 1/2 grain. Put half the dose under your tongue

in the a.m. and half the dose under your tongue in the afternoon.

Armour - dose by symptoms.

How on earth can a doctor justify giving a thyca patient 60mg of armour?

You need to have your TSH suppressed. I had an endo who wouldn't give me

more than 2 grains after my TT. I fired her and found a new doctor who

cares about patient wellbeing, not lab reports.

If I were in your shoes (I was less than a year ago), I would kick that

doctor to the curb and find another doctor who will give you the amount of

armour you need to thrive, not just survive.

I went from 90mg to 240mg in ONE week, once I had some other stuff I needed (cortef and estrogen).

Gracia
