Guest guest
Hi Trudie, We can speculate that it is probably mostly bromide detox. But we have found (in another group I am in) that giving the iodine a "washout" period has been extremely helpful, regardless of the cause. Too much detox can overwhelm your body. Our people stop all Iodine for 24-48 hours when symptoms like yours occur. I've had the exhaustion, achey legs, etc. You might even stop a few days before restarting. Guest guest
Sounds like Detoxing. Are you taking any Vitamin C. Dr. Brownstein had me taking 2 scoops of this when I first started. It helps clean out the toxins your body is releasing with the iodine. I had swelling in my left leg / ankle only. It helps. I can tell when I don't take it. http://tinyurl.com/oy87t B.My Ebay Auctions: http://tinyurl.com/o9nqvLIKE SOY CANDLES? I didn't take it today & am feeling more energetic. I took it for a month a few months ago, same dosage (2 in AM, 2 in PM) and didn't seem to have any problems? Has anything changed in the Iodoral itself?Addtionally, I was experiencing edema in my lower legs & feet after sitting at the computer but about a month ago, started using a rebounder daily (still do) & the edema had diminished greatly (but still use the computer) until I started on the Iodoral again...?I welcome your input/experiences.Thank you,Trudie
Guest guest
hi Trudie, the same thing happened to me! but when I lowered the dose I was worse off, so I continued on with 50mg. After 4 months I can definately say I can go to lower dose of one pill a day. hooray. No more fatigue and swelling. It scared me and I wrote in to the list. Alobar wrote back that he experienced this from sitting at the computer too long. I stopped sitting at the computer for long periods of time and it went away, but I noticed I had to walk lots and not sit at the computer to maintain it. After taking Iodoral it changed whether I sit at the computer or not it does not seem to occur. Due to the impact of Iodoral on my digestive system I have had to take a break and agree with Lynn's suggestions (in another response to you) on this.
