Hi Pindu,

I had three gallbladder attacks in two days and had an ultrasound done. My

doctor said that there were no stones, just sludge. He described sludge as a

precursor to gallstones, i.e., sludge is the stuff that can progress to becoming

stones. I have since read, however, that folks doing flushes often find small

stones among the sludge.
