Guest guest
My main > thing was just switching to soy milk Thanks but I'm anti-soy, I won't touch it. I was reading about lecithin helping gallstones and wondering if there was anything non-soy. I know you can get lecithin that is not soy, but I haven't been able to find it. Guest guest
Tina is there a reason that you are anti soy? Something I might need to know? God Bless!!! Sadie
Guest guest
I think soy is one of those things (like MSG, high fructose corn syrup, trans fat) that the body is not meant to digest. When you take soy the body thinks it's estrogen. It scares me when people swear by taking lots of soy. Mercola is my health Bible, he's very anti soy, although I also follow The Maker's Diet and he allows soy (although I don't). What bugs me is that I have done all the right things for the last two years, corrected my diet, exercised a lot, and yet my cholesterol has gone up. It's still puzzling me. So I'm looking for a non-soy solution. I was reading about ginger yesterday, but I didn't have enough time to read more. Guest guest
Thanks Tina for sharing the info. It scares me when people swear by taking lots of soy. I don't know if there is a difference or not but I don't take the supplement I only added the milk. Maybe yours is just your genetic makeup and you may not be able to handle it through foods and supplements. I do know that meat and diary are bad for cholestrol and I cut out almost all my diary, only have red meat once in a while. Chicken more than I should. I was lead to think that chicken did not contain that much cholestrol but it does...(lucky me) God Bless!!! Sadie
Guest guest
Tina I am continuing to read about the soy on the Mercola website and while I still have to do more research for myself (like we all do) I can see why you stay away from Soy. Thanks for sharing these pages with us.... God Bless!!! Sadie
