Hi Sheila and all,

Drum roll please. My free T3 levels have increased since taking a

small amount of T3 over the last 2 months (initially 5mcg of T3 once

a day for a month and then increased to 5mcg of T3 twice a day) in

conjunction with the 125mcg of thyroxine that I take. Prior to

taking the T3 (and only using 125mcg thyroxine) my free T3 levels

were steadily decreasing to the point where they fell below the

lowest end of the reference range.

I got some of my test results back today. I'm still waiting for

some of the results to be returned (Reverse T3, Vitamin D, Plasma

Zinc).

My most recent blood test results are as follows:

TSH 1.1 (range of 0.5 - 4.0) previous test result was 2.1

Free T4 17 (range of 10 - 25) previous test result was 17

Free T3 3.9 (range of 3.1 - 5.4) previous test result was 3.0.

(still waiting for Reverse T3 results to be returned).

Despite everything looking better with my thyroid blood levels, I

still feel terrible and have many hypo symptoms. The fatigue is

quite marked.

DHEA

My DHEAS blood level was 3.5 umol/L (range 1.0 - 8.5)

CHOLESTEROL

My cholesterol has risen to 6.4 (should be <5.5). Probably

indicative of my total love of butter and cream. Must control that

urge!

ALBUMIN - ANYONE HAD LOW ALBUMIN LEVELS AND KNOW WHAT IT MEANS?

The other thing that came back as low was Albumin. 33 g/L (range

34 - 48). I don't even know what Albumin is! I just had a look at

Lab Tests Online website. Here is the info about low Albumin.

link from http: to .html and copy it into your browser).

ARTHRITIC LIKE SYMPTOMS

I had a range of tests to investigate the cause of my arthritic like

symptoms. All of the tests came back as negative, indicating that

it doesn't appear that I have rheumatoid arthritis. Good!!! But

what is causing the arthritic like symptoms to persist? They have

lessened a little from the almost unbearable symptoms I had late

last week, but I still feel quite terrible. At least I can open a

jar now and squeeze the dishwashing liquid bottle. Last week doing

these simple tasks caused too much pain.

Any comments would be appreciated.
