Guest guest
Hello all, I ate nachos and had a gb attack all through the night about 2 nights ago. I now have a dull ache that goes off and on where my gb is. I'm thinking a stone might be stuck? I'm eating only fruits/veggies and having normal bm... I did a flush about 2 weeks ago and had very very tiny and few stones come out... What can I do to get the stone out? Epsom salt maybe? Help quickly please! Guest guest
Your GB has just gone through a tremendous workout the other night. It is still sore from the strain. To ease the strain and to try to prevent another attack: -Drink lemon juice in a glass of warm water every morning before you have breakfast; -eat a diet of only foods that are gentle on the GB (go to the links and files for further info)- corn is an irritant for the GB; you're looking to eat foods that DO NOT stimulate the gallbladder until after this pain passes. Then you must slowly add them to your diet to keep the GB healthy; - and possibly try a liver/GB support formula that has Dandelion and or Milk Thistle in it. NO FLUSHES when in pain. Good luck! --- <shefy7@y...> wrote: > I ate nachos and had a gb attack all through the night about 2 > nights ago. I now have a dull ache....... Guest guest
Shefy I've had the same symptoms as Traci and Suzzane, I suspect that most of the time it was inflammation, each attack is different from the previous. The soreness would last from three to thirteen days for me. The last attack left my abdomen sore, and jaundiced as well. I waited to see if a fever was developing, it didn't, and by the third day, the jaundice was going away. I've may have had a small stone in the cystic duct. I didn't get an ultrasound done, but I knew I wasn't developing pancreatitis. If there was a stuck stone, it either started to dissolve in the duct or it cleared the duct. I fasted for over two days because the soreness was very painful, about three quarters the intensity of an attack. I then began eating small portions of whatever sweet fruit I could get down because I was beginning to develop symptoms of hypoglycemia. I shouldn't have gone for so long w/o eating but I was having an irrational fear of eating because of the pain. Seek medical care if the soreness gets to be extreme and you develop a high fever, otherwise you sould be able to revover with the resources the group has. juan > > > I ate nachos and had a gb attack all through the night about 2 > > nights ago.
