This listing is by no means a complete one, but it can help you with quick references when needed. Here, we will list just the most common herbs and the uses of each. Obviously, most of these herbs have a much longer list of uses, and there are thousands of healing herbs around the world, but this is meant to be QUICK! My book and others can give you more complete information on each herb listed here. HERBAL AND DIETARY SUGGESTIONS FOR HEALTH AND REJUVENATION By Legion of Light ACIDOSIS – Yellow dock root, alfalfa, apples, cucumber, golden seal, peppermint, fennel, potato peeling broth (high in potassium which is alkalizing for the body). Drink distilled water. Eliminate meats, dairy products, coffee, and refined foods. ACNE – Alfalfa, kelp, Echinacea, dandelion root, burdock root, chaparral, valerian, gentian, yellow dock root, capsicum (cayenne), lecithin, aloe vera gel. Also refer to herbs for “BLOOD PURIFICATION”. ALLERGIES – Bee pollen, raw honey, blessed thistle, marshmallow, black cohosh, skullcap, comfrey, royal jelly, fenugreek, thyme. Avoid wheat, dairy products, refined foods and chemical additives. ANEMIA – Chlorophyll (liquid form or from fresh green vegetables), dry beans and peas, yellow dock root, red clover blossoms, comfrey, dandelion, red beets, burdock root, nettle, mullein leaves, kelp, dulse, alfalfa, raspberry leaves, blackstrap molasses, bee pollen. Eat grapes, prunes, raisins, dates, apricots, and sesame seeds (these foods are high in iron) Almond mild (almonds blended with water then strained) ARTERIOSCLEROSIS / ATHEROSCLEROSIS - Capsicum (cayenne), hawthorn berries, chickweed, garlic, motherwort, rosemary leaves, gentian root, fenugreek, rose hips, lecithin. Use kelp or sun dried sea salt instead of refined salt. Avoid red meat, dairy products, white flour, and sugar. This condition can indicate that the body needs to be cleansed through fasting and /or an improved diet.
