I would not bother with him if I was you, I request here and now that Sheila remove him from the list - he treated me for about a year but never did understand armour and they wanted to reduce my dosage from 3.5 grains per day to 1 because of the suppressed tsh, at his say so. He will not prescribe armour if he possibly can help it, it took 5 months of suffering on T3 before he would do so for me and I was his first and probably last patient on it. If you can change your appointment to someone else, I would recommend you do so.

Where are you by the way that you are attending Ashford Hospital.

I have used your list to guide our GP to refer my husband to anendocrinologist who will prescribe Armour. I have found theinformation here so useful and feel some level of confidence that hewill now get the treatment he requires. The appointment is with DrNaqvi, has anyone seen him?

It certainly does not refer to the Dr Naqvi on the dr's who will list as I was the one who got him to prescribe it for the very first and last time.

The article refers to a woman doctor not a male as far as I can see. Unless I am reading it wrong.

We are attending St s Chertsey, will he consider T3 treatment?

At present the only thing the GP will prescribe is synthetic T4
