Mama Rose: chicken isn't a soft food unless it is very tender and

practically pureed. Chicken (especially dry chicken) is one of the most

difficult things for bandsters to eat. If what you're doing is hurting I'd

back up on the diet a bit. Soft protein includes soft boiled eggs, poached

eggs, soft scrambled eggs, cottage cheese, soft white fish with sauce --

that kind of things. Cantaloupe would have to be extremely ripe to be soft.

If you've stretched your healing stomach by eating foods with too much

texture too early you just have to back off and wait for it to heal and then

reintroduce those foods cautiously. Taking too big of bites and not chewing

enough and eating too fast are also common problems for new bandsters.

You've got lots of stuff to work on.

Like Barb says, this board is mainly for regional meeting notices. Most of

the " technical " questions are answered on Smartbandsters.
