Greetings All

I have just come across a group that is so well organized with many people with

knowledge and caring, I just had to share the info.

I have found the answers to many questions about how not only iodine or lack

there of, works to put the body off balance, but the connections between so many

other things as they relate to good health.

The group is only been since Jan. of this year and is already sharing 600 plus

mails, all with great info. Yes, High volume, but worth it.

Candida, Gallstones, Bowel Diabetes problems all of this conditions are of

interest in this group as it relates to the use of iodine.

The group: iodine/

is a good place to be, they are sharing all they know with sources so you can do

more research yourself. They are working at putting things all together for the

better health for all.

I can not believe all the things that can go wrong if this mineral is not in the

diet in the proper amounts.

Here is just one of the things discussed taken from one email!

I am very glad I joined and so will you be. Another step toward solving the

health and wellness mystery.

Come and add your wisdom you are welcome you are needed!

yours in good health

Yes. 3 others along with myself seem to do very well with the pills at

mealtime. The friend with no thyroid says she would not do without them now.

Made a huge difference. The fulvics help pull out toxins, but no one I know has

any " incidents " from taking them this way. Think they might balance out some of

the Iodoral symptoms, but it's just my guess.

The fluid kind is good in RO water to bring it back to life. I would be real

leery of adding to regular tap water because of the chlorine/fluoride thing. If

you filter for these, you could add it with no problem. Looking around

earthclinic (@ potassium cures) I found something from one of my favorite

authors... Dr. Ted in Thailand. Often posts at the Willis list that deals with

autism options. Water detox info only for the brave and experimental... but it

can save you alot of $$.

<snip>

Drinking water softened with potassium chloride for five years and, through a

hair test, found that I have an imbalance of too much potassium and too little

sodium. How do I change that? We have switched to distilled water, but that

hasn't helped. I have trouble with swollen ankles, feet and lower legs. How can

I change that imbalance? Thanks much! "

Ted, from Bangkok Thailand responds, " Distilled water will cause a buffer

deficiency whereby the body's pH will vary a lot and may cause ups and down in

terms of energy and emotion. So... taking some baking soda now and then will

buffer your body's pH.

Distilled water is not good for you because it lacks bicarbonate buffers. It

sometimes causes you to loose hair and swollen cells. Adding some sea salt into

your water will solve the problems. Try 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt per liter of

water. Drink them for a couple of weeks and things should get better. Your

cellular osmosis is imbalanced since there are lack of cellular salts

extracellular salts as opposed to intracellular. Remember that potassium

chloride is an intracellular, and lack of extracellular salts, such as sodium

chlorides (salt) causes the cells to bloat and hence, swollen ankles and knees.

Reducing potassium, you need to get a potassium antagonists which are zinc and

magnesium. "

Reader question: If distilled water is not good, what kind of water do you

recommend?...we have a reverse osmosis system in our house. Previously I drank

distilled water...it is confusing to know the correct, healthy thing to do...

Ted from Bangkok, Thailand responds: " I would recommend mineral water. Reverse

Osmosis is too demineralized. People who lived in areas of hard water have low

incidences in many diseases, especially where magnesium is higher relatively to

calcium had a much lower incident in heart attacks and other diseases and can be

clearly seen.

Finland used to have the world's highest cardiovascular diseases because their

water were high in calcium when compared to magnesium, while Japan had a high

magnesium to calcium and yet they have the world's lowest heart attack. The

funny thing about it, Finland later found out about it and made some changes in

their supplies and now have statistics equal to Japan.

Of course the main culprit is chlorine, fluoride and calcium, in that order. You

cannot raise chickens, pigs and cows with high chlorine, they all die early of

heart diseases. So what is done in the industry is to add a water dechlorinator,

the same kind that is used in aquarium stores to rid chlorine of it. The

chemical name is sodium thiosulfate.

The other issue being that your body needs an adequate buffer, so adding

potassium and sodium bicarbonate to your drinking water really helps. Adequate

buffers allows your body's pH to be stable and makes your quite resistant to

virus, and bacteria.

Defluoridate your water by adding a pinch of supermarket borax to your liter of

drinking water will prevent fluorides from harming and calcifying your pineal

gland and destroying your melatonin levels.

Finally adding 1/4 teaspoon of good sea salt per liter of water to your drinking

water will really remineralize the water.

In aquarium fish tanks, pH, buffer, salinity, mineralization, water hardness,

are important with the health of your fish. If this is important, than our own

body's are just like fish tanks, you have to be vigilant in controlling them

also.

Most of all keep your calcium managed by vitamin Ds, but DON'T take calcium

supplements. Please refer to a book I recommend - " The Calcium Bomb " . This is

one reason why many alternative health out there are starting to recommend " no

milk " or " no dairy " .

Taking these few recommended steps you will see your health improved within a

week. So start monitoring how you feel and you will know what is right. "
