Hi! I just discovered your group after much research on my

gallbladder problems. So glad I found yall.

For starters, I am a 37 yr old female & discovered I had a

gallbladder problem while pregnant for the first time about 6 mos

ago when I started having attacks. I had an ultrasound done on my

gallbladder when i was 38 wks along & all they found was sludge.

Since I have delivered, I am considering doing the flush but I have

some questions. I hope yall won't think I'm a total moron for asking.

1) I am a working 8-5er. It's not really condusive for me to fast,

drink all these concoctions, lay down & spend a lot of time on the

toilet. Nevermind the fact that it's not convenient for me to run

down the hall to a very public restroom, I can't gather my stones

either. I also can't go to work feeling weak from fasting. Is there

a way for the daytime employee to pull this off? Honestly this is

something I'd rather attempt in the privacy of my own bathroom if

possible.

2) My attacks are coming closer & closer together & each attack gets

longer than the last. My first attack was 5 mins. Then 15 mins, then

45 mins, 90 mins & have worked their way up to 4-5 excruciating

hours. Is it safe to assume that my GB is filling up with more &

more sludge? The attacks are never brief anymore.

3) If I were to radically change my diet & NOT flush or have my GB

removed, what happens to the sludge in my GB? Does it just sit there

undisturbed or does it thin out & dissolve?

Thanks for your help...!

I'm not going to address all of your questions.....I'll let the others do

that. What I can tell you is that I have four children, a SAHM, so the

only time I can really do a flush is Friday/Saturday. We go to Mass Sunday

mornings, so I can't do it Sat/Sun. You really don't have to fast before

the flush....just eat nonfat foods....I usually stick w/fruit in the AM and

veggies in the PM. So, if you did that on Friday at work you would probably

be just fine. Then on Friday night, do the olive oil/grapefruit juice and

then you really only have to deal w/the bathroom on Saturday morning/early

afternoon.....or at least that's usually the way it goes for me.

I would positively do a flush and change your diet as well. Don't skip the

flush. I've done about 8 flushes and each one is always necessary.

I always have g/b attacks when I'm pg and then it takes a few months for it

to settle back down after I have a baby. I've flushed during pg, while

b/f'ing and whenever I feel one is necessary.

Good luck and congrats on your baby!

Tara
