Guest guest
I only had breakouts on the face but he told me to take a bath to detox my entire body. I took a wash cloth and dipped it in the water sponging it on my face. I have a HUGE whirlpool tub so he told me to double it for my tub. I would say take a 1/4 cup of each and fill your sink. The should work on your face but the real point is a total body detox. My mom has Dr. Nusbaum and he has her doing dead sea salts with baking soda. Not related to iodine detox but detox in general. I thought that was interesting. The HP I got was just from the grocery store. Less than $2 per big bottle. Breakouts; Epsom Salt & HP? Guest guest
Hi , The stuff from the drug store is only 3% peroxide, whereas food grade is 35%, so one cup of food-grade peroxide in a tub is a wonderful detox. I also add a cup of baking soda. It is a wonderful combination. Here is a link concerning various remedies and warnings about using 35% very carefully because it can burn the skin if spilled on it. http://www.earthclinic.com/Remedies/hydrogen_peroxide.html a Ps: H2O2 from the store (3%) is toxic i.e. it contains TIN and Phosphates. That is why it is not recommended for drinking. Re: Breakouts; Epsom Salt & HP? I only had breakouts on the face but he told me to take a bath to detox my entire body. Guest guest
You can get Baquacil at pool supply stores. It is 27% peroxide. Are you still doing it? One interesting thing I've noticed from Epsom baths, and maybe any bath, is the raise in body temp., which is great for hypos! Also, do you know the amounts of dead sea salts/baking soda in the recipe that Dr. Nusbaum gave your mom? Since I discovered the raise in temps and detox potential of baths, I really want to learn more. Anyone know any good sources on detox baths? Thanks, Dahlia
