Guest guest
I, too, had to leave early but both my daughter and I had a good time at Elma's picnic. Thanks for being such a wonderful hostess, and thanks to everyone who shared their stories with me. I enjoyed chatting with everyone I met. THANKS again, Elma! makenzie <---who returned home to do a fashion show of her own. LOL

Guest guest
Oh too hell and back it is! It is worth the drive every year, sometimes I grumble on the way there but it is always a delight to arrive and see the amazing changes and joy in everyone! Elma and Ray have a perfect set up and are wonderful hosts. I felt a little like we missed this year with the high volume of clothing at the exchange though. But I saw people leaving with armloads which was such a score, and my closet is clean!!!! Was there a weight loss tally total at the end? Everyone looked fabulous, it was so nice to see some new faces (and shapes!)and some old ones. There were people there that I was really looking forward to seeing and catching up with, and the sun even came out to bless our almost perfect day! Thanks to everyone who put forth a loving, positive, supportive effort to uplift their fellow bandsters, we are stronger united! (Special note to Lacey Kitten ) - can't find your email anywhere, you don't want to be me, just be yourself, you are wonderful as you are and beautiful as can be. I was so happy to see you and happy to hear your father is out of the woods from his bypass surgery for now. I am very proud of you, you look fantastic and are doing everything right even though you have been through such a critical year. Please keep me posted and let me know how things are going with you! Elma's Picnic was a blast Thank you so much Elma for a great day!!! I left early and missed the overall weight lost for the group so I am hoping someone posts it here. It was great seeing everyone and meeting new bandsters. I am amazed at the changes in people from last years picnic to this years!!! bob please email me the entire story you posted on smartbandsters. It is really good and I encourage EVERYONE to read it. I am so excited that I have an autographed copy of Jessies book! I am all bumped up and can't wait till next years picnic. I gotta go, I have to put all these clothes away so I can sleep in my bed tonight. I ended up taking almost as much as I left lol. in Issaquah
Guest guest
I was looking for the story that was being referred to in this message and couldn't find it. the one that Bob wrote. If you could let me possibly know the date it was posted I would like to read it. I was very dissappointed to have missed a wonderful event. I love reading about everyone's success and would have loved to have been one to show off mine as well. There is always next year and who knows maybe I will be even thinner next year. Down 75 lbs my anniversary is coming soon so I am excited! Loving life and experiencing it all in a new light! I appreciate all that share!
