Guest guest
While colonic irrigation washes out the colon, this for many is one of the most important things they can do for their health (clean the colon, not necessarily colonics). While much of the bacteria (and electrolytes) are removed they (the bacterias) rebound within a matter of hours. not a problem and you can always take a high quality probiotic supplement to help. Colonics definitely do not leave a dry colon; squeaky clean hopefully but not dry. Running one half to a gallon and a half of water backwards up into your colon 3 to 4 times over a ninety minute period is definitely an invasive procedure. Probably no where near as invasive as colonoscopies, resection, etc. As to the amount of shock, this will depend on both the condition of the colon and the size of the hammer carried by the practitioner. I have had several dozen colonics over the years and none were shocking in the least. To remove the encrustations does take more but colonics are probably the single most effective procedure in the protocol. All in all, if you wish to work on your liver and gallbladder, you would be well advised to make sure that the rest of the sewer downstream is clear and functioning optimally or you can expect reduced success and possibly secondary complications. -Dave ----- Original Message ----- From: vanadeux<mailto:vanadeux@...> gallstones <mailto:gallstones > Sent: Thursday, August 03, 2006 12:26 AM Subject: The gallstone cleanse. Also I do not believe for one minute that colonic irrigation does much for the body, other than wash out the colon, remove what good bacterias and bad bacterias that there were and leave a very dry and shocked colon..I know because I have experienced it.. To remove layers of old hardened faeces from the colon requires much more than colonic irrgation. Anne Uk
Guest guest
My dad has colitis. His doctor told him that he should NEVER do any type of cleanse. He said you do not ever want to upset the natural digestion no matter what the cause. I was trying to convince him that perhaps that would help, (my dad) but no way! His " doctor " said no! Oh well, I tried. Also, I have been taking " paraGONE I " and flora protect probiotics to rid parasites I think I may have gotten in Mexico (hospitalized three times since I returned in January, 2005) and I think I still have them. Do you think this is the right stuff to take? > > While colonic irrigation washes out the colon, this for many is one of the most important things they can do for their health (clean the colon, not necessarily colonics). Guest guest
No, I would doubt that your regular Dr. would either do or recommend this procedure ( though I can name several here in the Seattle area that have it available at their clinics. I would pick my colonic irrigationist the same way I would an accountant, lawyer, or Dr.... Carefully. A good therapist may, but not necessarily so perform intestinal massage during certain periods. When you have the procedure done the effluent travels through a lit clear tube. The therapist should be talking to and educating you on what is going through, what your digestion is like, etc. This is a very educational experience. Having said this, there is a lot said sometimes that is based on passion for the effectiveness of the procedure and not really an accurate description of reality. I would not for instance take the colonic therapist recommendation of numbers or frequency religiously. That does not mean that any particular recommendation is wrong, just suspect. These are well intentioned caring people (for it is a thankless job), however some consider it a panacea and incapable of harm. It is not on both accounts. I know people who were doing 3 per week for an extended period of time. One had lost so many electrolytes that he could not drive immediately after one. I picked him up. And I know the therapist very well, and who is a wonderful person. Try getting a recommendation for someone in your area for someone who is knowledgeable. If it is in the Seattle area I can steer you to several who are excellent (off group). -Dave ----- Original Message ----- From: Traci<mailto:tracic@...> gallstones <mailto:gallstones > Sent: Thursday, August 03, 2006 10:48 AM Subject: RE: The gallstone cleanse. Guest guest
Your dad's natural digestion is already upset. The idea is to get him back to normal. Colitis is a serious matter. What does his doctor think the cause is? What has the doctor prescribed for the symptoms, and more importantly what has the doctor prescribed to return him to " non upset natural digestion " (if anything). I do not know what is in the " Paragone " but I would expect mainly wormwood, black walnut hull, and clove. This seems to be the combination de jour. While all three are anti parasitical, parasites like bacteria are VERY species specific. If you have been taking the Paragone for more than 2 weeks and still feel you have them, you probably do. When dealing with tropical parasites, I usually look at tropical anti-parasiticals. Keep in mind that most anti-parasiticals are not the best thing for us either. The larger and more evolved the organism, the more similar to human physiology. The following are only suggestions of herbs that may be of value. It is impossible to determine the exact approach over the internet. It would be best to find someone very capable and experienced in such matters (difficult). Here we go anyway: The first I would look to is quassia chips. You can probably take this herb fairly safely. Parasites or invaders of any type, large or small, are dose dependent. If we sealed up the room you are in and took half the air out you would be able to survive and breed just fine. If we took out 75% of the air, you are dead. We must create an environment that they cannot survive in. 4 capsules a day may do nothing, and 8 might wipe them out. Epazote (wormseed), neem leaf, and pumpkin seeds also would be fairly safe. Rangoon creeper, male fern, and betel nut while toxic might be necessary in the long run to get the little buggers. The last few should be only under the care of a qualified individual. G My dad has colitis. His doctor told him that he should NEVER do any type of cleanse. He said you do not ever want to upset the natural digestion no matter what the cause. Guest guest
The motto of Sikh Religion is 'WELFARE UNTO ALL' Please use this for good health. Very simple to use & excellent results. List of Diseases That Can Be Cured By Water Therapy n Blood Pressure / Hypertension n Anemia (Blood Shortage) n Rheumatism (Pain in joints / muscles) n General Paralysis n Obesity n Arthritis n Sinusitis n Tachycardia n Giddiness n Cough n Leukemia n Asthma n Bronchitis n Pulmonary Tuberculosis n Meningitis n Kidney Stones n Hyper Acidity n Dysentry n Gastroenteritis n Uterus Cancer n Rectal Piodapse n Constipation n Hostorthobics n Diabetes n Eye Diseases n Ophthalmic Hemorrhage & Opthalmia (Reddisheye) n Irregular Menstruation n Breast Cancer n Laryngitis n Headache n Leukemia n Urogenital Diseases Therapy Procedure n Early morning, after you get up from bed, (without even brushing your teeth) drink 1.5 liters of water i.e., 5 to 6 glasses. Let us all know that ancient Indians termed this therapy as " Usha Paana Chikitsa " . You may wash your face thereafter. n Here it is very essential to note that nothing else, neither drinks nor solid food of any sort should be taken within 1 hour before and after drinking these 1.5 liters of water. n It is also to be strictly observed that no alcoholic drinks should be taken the previous night. n If required, boiled and filtered water may be used for this purpose. n It is difficult to drink 1.5 liters of water at one time, but you will get used to it gradually. n Initially, while practicing you may drink four glasses first and to balance two glasses after a gap of two minutes. n You may find the necessity to urinate 2 to 3 times within an hour, but it will become normal after quite some time. By Research and Experience n The following diseases are observed to be cured with this therapy within the indicated days as below: X Constipation - 1 day X Acidity - 2 days X Diabetes - 7 days X Cancer - 4 weeks X Pulmonary TB - 3 months X BP & Hypertension - 4 weeks n Note: It is advised that persons suffering from Arthritis or Rheumatism should practice this therapy thrice a day, i.e. morning, midday and night, 1 hour before meals for one week; and twice a day subsequently until the disease disappears. How Does Pure Water Act? n Consuming ordinary drinking water by the right method purifies human body. It renders the colon more effective by forming new fresh blood, known in medical terms as " Haematopaises " . That the mucous folds of the colon and intestines are activated by this method is an undisputed fact, just as the theory that the mucous fold produces new fresh blood. n If the colon is cleansed then the nutrients of the food taken several times a day will be absorbed and by the action of the mucous folds they are turned into fresh blood. The blood is all-important in curing ailments and restoring health and for this water should be consumed in a regular pattern. Life is Short, Just go for it n Please spread this message to your friends, relatives and neighbors. It is a great service to the cause of humanity.
