Guest guest
The goal for extended exercises is to replenish fluids and get enough good carbs and protein to replenish muscle usage. My best bets in my fanny pack are nuts, various trail mixes, little pieces of thin meat maybe little cheeses. whatever does not get stuck. Chew well, very small bites, and hydrate often alternating between water, maybe Propel or Vitamin water, and good electrolytes. At water stops they'll have some oranges, small pieces of apples or bananas. Hey my best idea was to take a shoestring and thread pretzels on it. You can just chew the pretzels off. Also gives you added salt that you need on long runs/walks. It's doable and a great challenge of weight loss to get back on the exercise trend. I always am in shape and keeping the weight off while training. We all need something to keep us going. Constantly whining about food and our fickle bitch band is not the way to stay successful long term! Have a great training!
