Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I have been chatting to Sheila on and off to let someone know I am still around. I havent spoken for a while because I have had a lot to deal with. Getting back to work after six months, struggling with my weight. Confused about whether my weight gain is just overeating or maybe a Thyroid problem. You will not remember my history but I was diagnosed in October with Obssional Compulsive Disorder and clinical depression (IOCD), I had gained weight despite being poorly and after a busy weekend trudging around Paris. Oh and for the first time ever my cholesterol had risen. I had the TFT test done by GP and it was normal. Despite her sending me for my requested T3, T4 and antibodies the lab would not process them because the function test was norma and that is there criteria. So I have been reading books on all sorts of stuff related to weight loss in search of the 'holy grail'. I did the Candida test and it was showing positive i.e the stringy spit thing. So tonight I wanted to let you all know but especially Sheila that I have tonight folded one each of her two documents plus letter and stuffed them in the first envelope!!! woo hoo!. Unfortunately I am looking at 11 boxes of letters the two papers and necessary envelopes. Sheila has worked extremely hard and we should all be eternally grateful for her eneavours and the professional responses she has written. My husband Jon has been an absolute star, he has called in some rather expensive favours to get the printing done and get the paper and envelopes donated too. Our small contribution has been buying the paper for the letters. One of Jons printer contacts printed the two jobs free of charge and supplied paper and ink. Jon has managed to get the company he works fors mailing house to do all the pre-addressed letters and supplied the envelopes. I have been told by my long suffering husband - 25 yrs on 21st May!! that I have to fold the two papers with a letter and then put them in the envelope. I have to go and buy the 1000 stamps (money supplied by Sheila through donations) and then have the task of sticking all the stamps. I have every intention of roping in by means of blackmail my two youngest offspring Robyn 11 and Charlotte 8. They will not see daylight until the last stamp is stuck on and then I will deposit them at the nearest post office. I have to say Jon is so relieved this is almost at an end as it has caused him some sleepless nights. As for me if I make it through the rest of the week I will let you know. I am at work Wed and the weekend and will be busy inbetween after that I will be back on the forum asking for help and advice regarding my confusions regarding my health. love Kim
